About Us
Pentecostal Revival Church has been in existence since 1964, established by Pastor Reggie Kisten.
In 1992, Pastor Jonathan Kisten became the senior Pastor of PRC alongside his wife Cookie Kisten. Pentecostal Revival Church also known as PRC Durban had embarked on an incredible journey in 2020, by acquiring their first church building, which has been a remarkable milestone for the church.
Our lead pastors have a passion to reach the community and beyond with the life-transforming message of Jesus. They believe in the next generation and value the wisdom and guidance of those that have gone before them. PRC Durban is a Christ centered church. We are passionate about leading people to Jesus Christ, and everything we do is about Him. Our focus is being a dynamic church that helps people develop strong Christian values, a fortified relationship with God and that equip them with the tools to serve others. We believe that the local church is the hope of the world, and we know we can accomplish infinitely more together than apart.
YOU ARE LOVED
We believe that God loves you unconditionally, His never ending love does not fail us. He fully loves you, and fully knows you. There are no hidden agendas, never any malice or wrong intent, there is only love. He cannot operate in any other way towards us, other than in love, because that is WHO HE IS. God is love.
“And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love.
Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them.” 1 John 4:16
YOU ARE CHOSEN
We believe that God chose you, to make a difference. You are made in the spiritual image of God, to be like Him in character. ‘You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you.” John 15:16
YOU HAVE PURPOSE
We believe that God has a plan and a purpose for you. He has destined you for greatness. “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11 “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28:19-20

PRC exists to lead people to worship in spirit and in truth, to have an intimate relationship with God. We exist to see the community changed by the love of God, where people of all ages and races come to one place to belong, where they can learn to believe and become all that God has called them to be.
